Deadhorse Trailhead Campground

Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest

Deadhorse Trailhead Campground is a small campground located on the northern slope of the Uinta Mountains at an elevation of 8,490 feet. It is adjacent to Deadhorse Trailhead which offers access to the Deadhorse OHV trail system. A thin forest of lodgepole pine, ponderosa pine and aspen covers the area, providing very little shade.
