Last updated July 24, 2026. CampSage (https://campsage.app) is a free campsite-finder and cancellation-alert service operated by Daniel Maynard, a sole proprietorship based in Los Angeles, California, USA. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

• Email address — when you set a cancellation alert or subscribe to Pro, so we can email you.
• Mobile phone number — only if you opt in to Pro SMS alerts, so we can text you when a campground you are watching opens up.
• Watched campgrounds — the parks and dates you ask us to alert you about.

How we use it

We use your email and phone number solely to deliver the campsite alerts you requested. That is the only reason we collect them.

SMS alerts

• No mobile information — including your phone number, mobile opt-in, and messaging consent — will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties or affiliates.
• Message frequency varies — you only receive a text when a campground you are watching actually opens up, which may be several times a week or not at all.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe from texts, or HELP for help. You can also remove any watch on the site.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We use Twilio to deliver SMS and Stripe to process Pro payments; they act only as service providers to deliver the service you requested and are not permitted to use your mobile information for their own marketing.
